RULES OF THE HOUSE
The Wi-Fi code is Couetilliec
No smoking in the property.
No food or drink in the pool area.
The towels provided are not for use at the pool or beach.
Please dispose of your rubbish appropriately:
- yellow bags are for recycling (plastic bottles, paper, tin cans, and cardboard)
- green plastic containers are for clean glass
- black bags are for everything else.
We are able to supply the yellow and black bags on request. At the end of your stay please leave ALL the bags and glass in the property and we will dispose of them.
No visitors are allowed in the cottage, pool or on the grounds. The cottage to be left as clean and tidy as found upon arrival. If not, a minimum of €50 will be deducted from the damage deposit for a cleaning fee. There are no facilities for charging electric vehicles.
Only use cleaning products that are provided.
Please do not let the cats (they are on rodent patrol, not house cats) or Jazz in the cottage; bear in mind that the future guests may have a severe allergy to pet hair. Please do not feed Jazz or the cats as they will pester you and ALL future guests for food: not all guests enjoy being constantly hounded for food.
If you have any edible leftovers such as veggie and fruit peelings, stale bread etc. please ask Carl before feeding them to the chickens or Choupette the pig, for your safety and the animals’ safety.
The garden furniture is your responsibility for the duration of your stay so please take care of it; do not leave the parasol up if it is windy, whilst you are away from the property or overnight.
Whilst you are away from the property or if it is raining, please either close the Velux windows or leave them on the first catch. They are an integral part of the roof and if left open during rainfall the consequences can be severe and also impact future guests’ enjoyment.
Please store your bikes in the cycle barn and not the cottage.
We are in an isolated position at the end of a country lane so downloading large files or streaming uses up a large amount of bandwidth of the broadband.
Please let Carl know as soon as possible if anything in the cottage does not work as it should.
Please do not touch any switches on the fuse board. If switches trip, please inform Carl immediately.
Carl will report any power cut to ERDF as soon as possible.
On the day of your departure please remember to leave the property in the same condition that it was in when you arrived. If not, £50 will be deducted from the security deposit to cover the cleaning costs. Alternatively, if you would like us to arrange the pre departure cleaning, please ask about this on arrival.
For everyone’s enjoyment of the property and grounds we recommend that you park your vehicles behind the cottages. Please ask and we will show you the best place to park.
