A coastal walk or leisurely boat trip to explore part of Brittany’s coastline or one of its islands is a must. Barre d’Étel (50km)

nr Étel. Equally beautiful on a balmy summer day as during a winter storm. Strong tidal rip current though the ria’s estuary – no swimming. 4km sandy beach runs northwest to Plage du Magouëro. Interesting boat graveyard; only a handful of boats but something you rarely see.
